If you could live anywhere in the world for six months, where would it be and why?
Barcelona; it has the perfect mix of city life and beach lifestyle. The weather is amazing, the architecture is incredible, and there’s such a strong food and culture scene. I also love how walkable the city is and the balance it offers between relaxing and exploring.
What’s your favourite part of working in the short-term rental industry?
One of my favourite parts is the variety of properties we look after; from city apartments and Hunter Valley cottages through to luxury beachfront villas. Every property has its own story and personality. I also enjoy supporting owners throughout their short-term rental journey and helping create memorable stays and experiences for guests visiting different parts of Australia.
What’s one tip you’d give to someone looking to list their property as a short-term rental?
Focus on styling and making your property stand out. Guests are drawn to homes that feel unique and memorable, so adding thoughtful touches can make a big difference. Whether it’s kayaks by a lake house, bicycles near parks and coastal areas, beautiful artwork in a city apartment, or a bottle of local wine in the Hunter Valley; those small details help create a better guest experience and stronger reviews.
What do you like to do outside of work?
I’m a big fan of architecture, food, and travel. Living in Melbourne, I enjoy exploring local markets, coffee shops, and restaurants, as well as discovering different neighbourhoods and design styles. I also love travelling around Australia and experiencing different regions, landscapes, and hospitality offerings.
