There is no public transport to the cottage so a car will be essential.

Tricklebeck is only minutes drive from some of the areas best bushwalks and lookouts. Visit Hargraves Lookout for amazing views over Megalong and Kanimbla Valleys. Or drive down to Megalong Valley, through the rainforest and go horseriding. Shipley is also famous for its apple orchards.
Tricklebeck is less than 5 minutes drive from the village of Blackheath, with its world class restaurants, antique shops and lovely cafes and specialty shops. You must try the sourdough from one of the two local bakeries or visit the New Ivanhoe for good old fashioned pub style meals.
There are many local walking tracks at Govetts Leap and Evans Lookout or you could take a short drive to one of the various attractions such as the Megalong Valley, Jenolan Caves, the Three Sisters at Echo Point, Leura Mall and Wentworth Falls, all with their own galleries, antique and craft shops, restaurants, cafes and walks.
